Game crashes

Hello.

I've updated the game to the new B1414 version.
But when the game loads it crashes and the message i get is this : [string ''--client\functional\engineWizard.lua...'']:1549:attempt to call method 'new' (a nil value)

What to do with this?
And it doesnt make a difference if i run the game as admin

Have you got any old platforms or models in your Documents/Automation folder? If so, you should delete them. If that doesn't work, run the Automation Cleaner tool, try a fresh install, then after the launcher has updated your build to B1362, try installing the open beta patch again.

I've got no old platforms installed or anything. All is deleted. Did the ''cleaner'' and installed it again but still the same issue.

It would probably be best to upload your log files so that Zeussy can work his magic.
Log files can be found in your Documents/Automation folder, the files you want are log.txt, KeeEngineLog.txt and DXDiag.txt

This crash is global and is happening to me and Cheeseman and im sure others.

Can I get PatchLog.txt from you, (found in My Documents\Automation),

It seems that you have a faulty install/update.

I have just relased B1415 to fix a couple of issues, see if this fixes it. If not download the whole new installer from here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1271

After updating the game to B1415 it works now!!
So im happy now.....cheers zeussy
