Fixture control switching

Can we please remove or at least implement an option to remove the fact that controls for fixture manipulation switches sides after each adjustment? It's really vexing.

Edit: Also, the super car body has an issue with tweaking fixtures on its rear end. While selecting parts you've already placed on the rear end, one of two things will happen.
A: It will select through the car and select something on the opposite side.
B: If there is more than one instance of a particular fixture (IE a lip) it will manipulate both pieces or prevent manipulation of either if it detects a second one.

Re: Fixture control switching

Yeah, the whole system of selecting and moving fixtures needs a lot of work, and a lot of performance improvements (horrible framerates when moving taillights right now). It'll get a major overhaul when on Unity.

Yeah, we have an idea for that, not quite adjustable depth, but adjustable layer order at least, so that headlights can punch through grilles etc.

Re: Fixture control switching

speaking of, the turning of fixtures isn't really working for me, just can get a little tilt, but no full horizontal to vertical rotation

Does it work if you make the fixture really small first? I might know what it is if so.
