Nice looking car! Would the chrome be on all the models? Also, you have a lot of real estate on the back that you're not using. I would like to see more of the rear fascia used up. Other than that, this is truly a stand-out car!

Re: New line from Normandy Automotive.

Like everyone else, I've built a super car. This is the Velocity 721.

For years, our fans have been asking for a follow up to the mighty Echo, since it was retired after setting the Automation land speed record. So, the boys up an R&D put their collective heads together and churned out what, will hopefully be, the next great benchmark for Normandy.

As of now, it comes with a 6.0L DOHC Flatplane N/A V8 producing 721 HP @ 8000 RPM's and 493 Ft-Lbs of Torque to 8-Speed, double clutch sequential AWD gearbox.
0 - 62 MPH wizzes past in 2.5 Seconds and keeps going to 214 MPH without actually killing the driver.

Plans are already in the mix for a Turbocharged version, as well as a V10 / Turbocharged version as well. The V8 Turbo should be released soon after this, but the V10 will have to wait until the boys pull their heads out of eachothers asses.

As an aside. I certainly hope the horse likes these new tail lights, and finds them relevant to his interests.

Re: New line from Normandy Automotive.

So, someone somewhere decided to throw Normandy a bone and send us an invite to Le Mans. So, the drunks back at R&D drug themselves out of bed and sashayed their hungover asses back to work.

I present for your approval. The Velocity Le Mans. By a wide margin, the quickest accelerating car we've produced.

She's powered by a 7.1L DOHC Flatplane Bi-Turbo V8 producing 1867 HP @ 8000 and 1225 Ft - Lbs of torque to a Double Clutch, 8-speed AWD sequential gearbox.
0 - 62 is thrown away in 2.2 seconds with a tops peed of roughly 203 MPH. With 12 MPG.

For those of you in the know, no. No drivers were killed during the creation of this vehicle however, many many tire were blown during the testing process. Thanks to the drunk fucker who thought that up. The only thing keeping it from going past 350MPH was the tires.

Re: New line from Normandy Automotive.

In 1965 Normandy was contacted by AMC to develop competition for the muscle car market.

While the car itself wasn't much to look at, or very fast, it made up for it with ease of use, practicality and fuel mileage.

It came with a 5.0L V8 producing 330 HP @ 5700 RPM and 313 Ft-Lbs of torque @ 4600 RPMs to a 5-speed RWD gearbox. Yes, that says 5-speed. Normandy designed the car to last longer than 7 minutes on the freeway. So, with the well oiled and well tuned engine, combined with a 5-speed, the Crusader got an amazing 19 MPG even whilst weighing in at 3000 lbs and having the aerodynamics of a brick.

It was equipped with 5 seats, seat belt, (then) modern sound system and was built with the intention of being easy to modify and customize. Unfortunately due to the market being flooded with competition, the Crusader died soon after it's birth with less than 1,000 being sold around the country.

Re: New line from Normandy Automotive.

And then there was one.

Some time ago, I broke the Automation Land Speed Record, killing my test driver in the process, because I was bored. Today, I got bored once again.

I present to you. The Velocity M 1/2. The fastest vehicle ever produced. No it's not for sale. This, is merely a demonstration of what the boys back in research are capable of.

The power plant is an 8.1L DOHC Flatplane Bi-Turbo V8, producing 2072 HP and 1450 Ft-Lbs of torque to an 8-speed sequential RWD gearbox.
0 - 62 is dealt with in 2.4 seconds on to a tops peed of 387.3 MPH. Great fuel mileage too. 19 MPG.

The name is derived from Mach 1, or the speed of sound. This vehicle exceeds more than one half the speed of sound.
