Lua error when selecting scenario

Hi to all!

I've searched about this error and found many diferent Lua errors, although none described my own. I get the following message when selecting any scenario:

Step() failed!: [string "--File: .\scripts\client\functional\engineW..."]:946: attempt to call method 'new' (a nil value)

When designing a chassi, the game works up to the point of choosing the headlights, when it crashes whitout any aparente error.
The game used to work fine on my old PC, which used Windows 7. I just installed the game on my new Windows 8 laptop, but when I opened the file it also updated it to the latest version, so I'm not sure of what the problem is: Windows 8 (that seems to be implicating with about every game I had) or the update.
Any tips would be great.

Thanks!

Re: Lua error when selecting scenario

All I can say is that the latest update runs fine on my Windows 8 laptop. I've done all the scenarios without any sort of error whatsoever. So I'm not sure what could be causing the error.
