I've found this in Internet, and I think that I can be used to make accurate values of engines in Automation:

I'm sure the devs will take a look at it, but I believe they already have a very accurate way to do just that (with the exception of turbos).

What Jakgoe said, we're happy with what we have and any changes to the complex system in place would take months - we have more important things to focus on. :)
