Re: Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [WAIT FOR RESUL

It seems my work to improve the tameness went quite well compared to other entries with similar power outputs. Reducing the sportiness... not so much. Its good to know i haven't won the award for the worst name though :P

Re: Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [WAIT FOR RESUL

I like the comments on mine.

BRC 1100.

"Unlike other American entries, this one is not overweight. Other things? Grandma cannot drive this one."

My advice for driving the Green Lighting II. Get to 3rd gear and above and never drop down again. 1st and 2nd gear are death.

S1000

"Extremely quick to get going. Equally good in corners."

I am actually sad nobody made fun of the interior.

What interior? (I did your Super 1000 card, I tried to be funny on whatever cards I could :))

I had to get the weight up so the interior is a hand crafted. My driver is driving in a nice comfy living room.

Hand crafted.

Oh right, I only looked at peoples models to get the top speed. I didn't take any notice of other choices (Because I was trying to get cards done relatively quickly). Sorry

No problem.

It is a stat nobody is going to usually look at. I accidentally made the frame of the car so light that the iron engine could not bring the weight back up. The frame + engine is around 600kg. So I just kept making the interior nicer and nicer until it fit the weight limit.

I did the opposite for my team's Super 1000 entry, it ended up being way too heavy, even with all weight-loss measures taken! Oh well, we'll see what happens! :)

Re: Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [WAIT FOR RESUL

I love my stat card "Like many American cars out there, the engine is an absolute peach. But it handles like an absolute pig." ROFLOL!! Love that :D

Image

Looking at the power curves it seems we have a decent combo of turbos and naturals, should be interesting. Cant wait to see how well my "barge" does around the tracks. Probably as good as a barge I would guess :P

Edit: I think I am the only one who used the large sedan..........I wanted something that wouldn't normally be out on a track :D

Re: Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [WAIT FOR RESUL

I had a chuckle at my BRC 1100 card.

"One of the decent American machines ... but it's alright."
Pretty much sums up my feelings on most American cars too, rofl.

Some people may say that your card was a 'Wild Card'. (Couldn't resist :D)
