I had made a thread question about it, no one replied though. I know bullets uses xp but only the 32 bit.

Can you run programs in compatibility mode on XP? If you can, try that maybe in 32bit XP or something (I'm no expert), it's the only thing I can think of besides an OS upgrade..

Comparability didn't work, I just ordered windows 8.1 today anyway so hopefully that will fix the problem.

It is a shame that our stuff still has not arrived from Australia, as we do have a windows xp x64 machine to test on.

I don't get why your launcher folder is empty. Somehow it is installing the launcher to 1 path, but the game content is getting installed elsewhere.

Can you run regedit (Start -> Run put in: %systemroot%\syswow64\regedit )
It has to be that regedit and not standard regedit. As we need to access the 32bit registry.

Then Go HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Automation

What does it have InstallDir set to?

I tried installing to a different directory as killrob suggested, c:\games\automation for both installer and game and it still did not work. I will just keep playing with 1328 until my newegg order comes in assuming that fixes it, if not at least I'll have a shiny new operating system that's still supported by MS.

I'll check my registry tomorrow night when I'm back home.

I have installed windows 8.1 and the game is running without problems! I think some part of the code between 1328 and 1352 didn't like xp 64
