Is sportiness and tameness really that good predictors for success? Cause for my s 1000 entry I got over 50 for both (if it passes inspection)

In most cases, actually it's less a factor than just a good setup. I found a lot of times where the ratio was worse, but the times were much better. There is a certain point, of course, where it's too far and times start to increase.

Today, I went back to my engine and found out I could make it output a hundred more horses.
The engine's name is exactly what I said and shows the way I felt.

Out of all things to cover, why choose the loudness? Also, I can tell that the turbo produces about 2.5 bar of boost at around 8800 rpm.

Maybe they think a loudness of 83 is incredibly bad and want to cover it up, or incredibly good and want to keep it a secret?
Also it looks like the weight is 198kg, but I'm not so sure of that one

2.5bar spooling @ 7000RPM wont give you lots of tameness. Especially the V8 there is not the best choice for a 1.8L Turbo engine. All people making fuzz about their engines...


This is the torque curve of mine, took 4 revisions and 72minute to build and its giving me proper times, also its quite light. What yours is not from what i guess, beacuse to use 40V and Turbos you are almost forced either to give it no quality and take aluminium or make it cast iron and pump up other quality - making the engine very heavy and the car has a bad weight distribution.


Also: If someones good... they dont need to see your graphs, they already know what they wanted to build anyways - no big secret about that.

doh...i wondered why all get proper MTBF with thier turbo engines, but the "zero qualitiy slider rule" applies only on platform and model...beside this little 'mistake' on my side i'm looking forward to the competition! in addition to that my Super 1000 has brakes to stop good one time, but therefore the unsprung wheel mass is low

Many of you will probably lose lots of time on the other stages and then be disappointed why the 423 hours of work you put into fine-tuning the car didn't pay off.

Quoted again for truth. When 1 track looks like a Nascar oval and another is a Goat Track 100hp either way doesn't matter because where you gain something you lose elsewhere.
