i've set up the suspension to improve lap times, yet the sportiness is still rather high and the tameness rather low on my car. :)

Look at the variables that affect sportiness and tameness and see if theres anything you can do to increase the tameness or reduce the sportiness without reducing the overall performance of the car too much. I found a couple of good tricks that helped me, but I'm keeping them to myself 8-)

Der Bayer, when you say you have tested the cars, does that just mean that they work, or that they have passed scrutineering?

It means that I did scrutineering and tested the cars which passed. Only 3 cars failed so far, yay! :)

I knew I should have left them alone, but after I submitted my entries I managed to squeeze another 20hp out of my BRC1100 engine :S

ah well its just a bit of fun :) Looking forward to seeing the results

You have to copy the folder to Documents/Automation/Tracks.

It usually happens  , there are many ways to improve not only the engine but the final model too. I've also sent my cars quickly... the next time :)

Really hoping that I'm not somehow in that list of 3... Even went as far as to zip the comp files, remove all files, and unzip those comp files to be the only ones to check!

Yeah, I hope so too. I just finished up my super 1000 car, and it is kind of pathetic in terms of an engine - 55kW =(
The rest is not bad.

You should aim for 100+ kW to be competitive :)

Is it right for me to be worried about my considerably lower power output than some of the stats already posted here, my vehicle seems to perform decent enough. But these 400-500hp stats are making my sub 400hp seem irrelevant. :?

This is the BRC1100 class i'm talking about by the way. NEED ADVICE plz

Dunno, my BRC1100 Submission is an N/A Inline 6, producing 340 hp iirc.
Imho its fast enough, but we will see.

And i am thinking(and hoping) that some of these stats are a bit exaggerated.
