Junny, does a higher sportiness actually help on its own? I tried to get the sportiness down and the tameness up, rather than increasing both of them, because I was under the impression that too high a sportiness value was a bad thing.

Junny, does a higher sportiness actually help on its own? I tried to get the sportiness down and the tameness up, rather than increasing both of them, because I was under the impression that too high a sportiness value was a bad thing.

The lower the sportiness/tameness ratio is, the less you will struggle on bumpy tracks. So yes, sportiness down (without sacrificing theoretical performance too much) and tameness up.

Its german engineering - in normal everyday driving this car will save you money - if you press the pedal to the medal, then things look more like that.

Don't know if it was just me but AWD in Super 1000 was actually a handicap as the cars are so low powered the extra drive train loss did not seem worth it.

Well, AWD gives you a way faster acceleration, with such a blender-like engine it's very important

I was working with orginal value of 35 sportiness and 9 tameness so anything would be an improvement

how does one get the sportiness down and the tameness up, anyway?
i've set up the suspension to improve lap times, yet the sportiness is still rather high and the tameness rather low on my car.

Changing the pad type to further down (the blue area) can increase tameness.

Yes it does! But that can be compensated by bigger brakes and more pistons... which makes things heavier, but you should have no trouble getting below the limits anyway.
