Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges [BUILD]

I'm fairly sure "Standard safety" was a minimum requirement, I think it'd be safe to use above that. Don't see why not.

Yeah, at least standard. If you need more weight, the easiest thing is to go for heavier interior packages.

How are we allowed to make changes between the rallies btw? Like, keeping to same platform and engine block? Or?

I think there is no tweaking between stages allowed.

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges

Well I thought sunday was just the first deadline for the first stage? I don't know if I interpreted it correctly. Just thought of it since in Rally teams usually tweak gear ratios and settings depending on the stage. If not, my final drive ratio gonna screw me over on the 2nd stage

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges [BUILD]

I believe that's the point - to build a car that isn't set perfectly for one stage only and nothing else, but is good all around. Martin would not write not to spend too much time tweaking the car for the first stage otherwise. I believe it's the deadline for the entire rallye

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges [BUILD]

Yeah, you build one car and it races on all stages without modifications. Otherwise it would not be manageable anymore.

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges [BUILD]

Its looking more and more like going for a V8 turbo was a bad move for group B :(

I guess i have to hope that I've done a better job with the suspension

The competitors already tremble. The car is called Phobos for a reason. :)

And yes, everything from 1984.
