Sent in my Demo 1600 entry! Introducing the 1984 Platinum Tuna 1.6 Demo 1600, with a small I4 naturally aspirated engine producing over 2.5 times the power as the original '75 did!

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges [BUILD]

Well, after about six on and off hours of working on a rally car for Group B, the design team at Gravida found the car to be too slow. A new design was done, shaving ten seconds off the time within the first hour of design. It'll be in Der Bayer's inbox in a few minutes from this post.

I showed mine becuase basically a 500 horsepower Volvo is going to be competing against itself not others, I wouldn't exactly be using it as a standard

My car is the 3.0 V8 powered, 1.17g, 370bhp, o-60 in 4 sec, 130kg of downforce EGT-84B, soon in the PM box for someone :D

The max. engine size possible for this challenge is 2142cc. (If the 3.0 means something else, then feel free to rage :) )

No Pleb, 2142cc is the maximum TURBO engine size. A 3.0L NA V8 is fine.

Theoretically anyway. I chose the power disadvantage of a N/A engine because on any uphill sections a huge turbo is going to be a pain to spool up, especially in a 1100kg car.

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges [BUILD]

Not necessarily. My turbocharger spools up 500 rpm before the downshift rpm, so the turbo is in full spool all the time in my case.

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges [BUILD]

Also, the game doesn't take into account the turbo spooling down when you lift off in the track simulation. it just assumes that the turbo is going as fast as it can for the engine's RPM once the throttle goes back down
