Re: Open Beta (B1352+) Bug Reporting Thread

One thing I meant to say last night is that none of the tests with graphs that were available in the old model designer are available within the normal testing screen in this update. I can access ~4 of them when i click on "test track", but some of the old tests which used to be available are now missing. The one I was missing the most was the downforce balance graph.

ps. apologies if i'm just being dim and missing the place they have moved to. it was quite late when i was looking for them

Re: Open Beta (B1352+) Bug Reporting Thread

The graphs are not missing, the unimportant ones have been removed. Downforce values will be given for front and rear indendently in the future, no need for graphs then.

Figure I'd say this now, rather than forget later when the Dev team can do anything 'bout it. For whatever reason, I cannot change the install location of the install.... :\

Not a major bug, but 2 new bodies (60s Sedan and 80s Mid coupe) are unable to deform.
Sorry, I don't have any screenshots for 2 new car bodies

You need to use the Automation launcher you get from your User Control Panel. I don't know why it does this either, but I know it's bypass-able. Hope this helps. Your launcher can be found here: ucp.php?i=199

Re: Open Beta (B1352+) Bug Reporting Thread

I'm getting this -675mm tire width error now. Fresh re-install, and it didn't happen yesterday on the same install.

It disappears when a body is selected.

I'll try and find what's causing it, but it looks like a localized bug for me, so that's some good news :)

Same problems here. Performing a test works 1 out of 5 times i would say.

EDIT: After some testing i came to the conclusion that it has to be the undertray option "downforce" which is somehow broken. With this attachet to may car i can't test it anymore on the track.

In my install, the undertray "downforce" works fine. Possibly it is body style specific?

Re: Open Beta (B1352+) Bug Reporting Thread

Same here, underbody downforce works on the cars I've tried. I have noticed an occasional crash on the test track, it might be excessive stiffness + too much downforce. I'll experiment more tonight and try to narrow it down.

Re: Open Beta (B1352+) Bug Reporting Thread

Didn't take a picture, but I built a RWD twin turbo V8 car with over 2000HP (And enough cooling for it) but whenever I try to use one of the test tracks the RPM and speed stay at 0 and nothing happens. The track times page is just a few weird characters. (Like j-0; or something like that.) Also, I'm sure you know this by now, but after I exit the vehicle model editor and try to go into another one the game crashes.
