Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges

Count me in for everything too. Although if the open beta comes out any later than Thursday morning then I wont have time to make anything for it, since I'm heading to my parents on Friday to watch the F1 and I wont have access to my PC with automation until Sunday evening or Monday afternoon, depending on when I head back to uni.

Is the MTBF of the entire car calculated in the update, or are we going by the MTBF of the engine with whatever cooling we give it?

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges

I'll run in Group B! And because the engine doesn't state anything about quality, looks like that one gets maxed while the car itself remains 'unquality'd.'

True OCAdam, but increasing quality has a massive effect on the man-hours.

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. :?

Now then... I wonder how times are in relation to suspension settings... at least with most racing games I've played, softest suspension is the way to go, to a certain point of course! There's more to it than that alone, but that's what I've noticed worked best for me.

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges

You're going to want a decent amount of tameness for the bumpy stages, too stiff and you'll have penalties.

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges

MTBF is the one you get on the drivetrain tab (in the car). That's why it's in the "Car" section , not in "Engine". ;)

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges

If this becomes a regular thing, will some of us be able to enter as say, engine providers?

Like for example, if I had a topic with my engines available for download, and they met the regulations for future challenges, would others be able to use my engines in their cars for the challenges? It'd be a bit weird, but it could potentially make things exciting, seeing battles in the engine designing front to see who could provide the best engines.

All in good sport of course, I'm just curious.

That being said, if the open beta comes out sometime this week(So that I can actually build a working vehicle for this challenge) I'll enter in Group B!

To add to CNSpots1's question, can we team up in teams of two or more?

Count me in for both groups.
I haven't seen anything in the news section, but I'm guessing the new update is going to land tomorrow or the day after?

Re: BRC: Bavarian Rallye Challenges

Sure, you can team up and work on cars together, I have no problem with that. I just want to receive only one entry per class per player. :)

Since the beta is only in demo mode currently, can you extend the deadline to enter?
