Drive Train settings

I thought I had posted this question earlier today but I can't seem to find it any more, maybe I didn't press submit :?

I understand there wont be a "gearbox designer", but would it be possible to add the ability to save a model's drive train setup, so we can then import it into a model for another compatible platform?

Auto makers often use the same engine gearbox combinations across a few models and I'd like be able to simulate that aspect. The difficulty at the moment is it is very hard to match the ratios between models as the graph scales and top speeds will alter based on the platform being used and there are no quoted values.

Re: Drive Train settings

I think the gearbox ratio will come with a number like 4.21 or such (from 1 to 8 or so?) or from acceleration to top speed with a number like camprofile has. That way you can keep 1 number to match all your cars you want to have the same ratio.

Had the same problem, it's just transition issues to the new server :)
