Organization

I've been having a bit of an issue picking the correct shell for vehicles due to the basic view of the shells and the fact that they are all the same size on their image making it hard to find which one is smaller without toggling back and forth.

It would be nice if they had categories or a filter to find exactly what you are looking for. So I could select body year and then filter for only coupes, or look at all years for coupes. It would also be nice to see some basic stats of the shell to know which one may be better.

I am not at home now, but when I do get home I'll load the game up and post some pictures of the issues that I come across when selecting a body.

Re: Organization

When more bodies are put into the game, this will happen. For now, we will have to deal with unorganized menus.

Re: Organization

On the automation facebook the devs said something along the lines of "there will be enough new car bodies in the next update to make us have to think about how to display them in the UI", so there is a chance that there will at least be a temporary fix for this by the end of march, which is when the devs said that the next update should be released if everything goes according to plan. None of that is set in stone, but it is definitely a possibility.

Re: Organization

Current dodgy fix is to sort the bodies by year, and have the wheelbase listed on the icon so that you can tell small and large versions of the same body apart.

Re: Organization

How about, going forward, we specify the wheelbase at the chassis stage?
Not in real terms but in basic values like xsmall, small, medium, large, xlarge.
Then the UI would only present to us the bodyshells that will fit.
