Great job guys


what i've found so far:
crash when setting the top speed past ~360mph
I built a car and my downforce at 126mph is -5.6kg with an enormous wing on the back....seems a bit off

Some cars produce considerable lift at the back so, depending on how huge your wing is it might not be as far off as you think

i was toying with the beta, all my cars and previous engines was gone (as to be expected i assume?) then, when i was to put a 2liter turbo engine in a transverse awd shell, this poped up:

worth noting that Automation became completely unresponsive when this came up

This happened when I tried to "Choose Engine" for a model I was building, the engine is a ~4L turbo V8 and the photo in the link is the error message I got. If you want the exact engine configuration/platform configuration I can give you that too!

My wild guess, looking at the error, knowing very little about coding, I imagine it is engine related since it seems to invoke the placement of turbos not being defined.

With regard to the TURBO bug there's a quick workaround. Load a naturally-aspirated engine first, then load a turbo motor and it should work. I've tried it twice.

Really great work guys, the progress you're making is astounding. Love the new soundtrack, fits the game perfectly. I don't visit these forums often, but is it possible to donate or contribute further?

When selecting "choose this engine" in the selecting engine screen, the game cuts out because of a 'nil' value. If it helps, the engine I was trying to select was a crossplane V8 for a sedan body. I really love this game, so I would love this to be fixed when you can.

At least you can choose an engine. I continually get crashes (that have all been mentioned) when I select a suspension component in the platform designer.

Very first thing : WHY IS THE MUSIC SO DAMN QUIET ?
Such good music should be waaay louder !

EDIT : Here comes the second one :
When I change years withing a decade, the music starts again. It should continue, as it's the same decade, right ?

EDIT 2 : Well actually, it seems that the music plays randomly. I can listen to the 40's music. But I'm now a hippie.

If the music is too quiet, then crank it up, use the volume sliders in the menu. The levels are not faulty, the music should get up to about -3dB to 0dB.
The music that plays is randomized with a Gauss distribution around the year you're currently in. So in 1955 you will hear a bit of music from the 40s, a good percentage will be from the 50s and a few songs from the 60s.

I can no longer open Automation . The launcher appears, however when I click "Play" it says Automation launcher has stopped working. I have tried everything I know like running as administrator and setting maximum permissions for all the files as this has fixed similar issues in the past. I still have a feeling its something to do with Vista's ridiculous security system. Ill try a re-install and let you know how it goes

If you try to play multi player with patched beta game says that "your version is too old to play multiplayer"

Another thing is the "Fake weight", it changes each time that I revise a model.
Apart from that 2 little bugs, this patch is amazing!

good to see the maximum tyre width scales with the size of the wheel arches, it means you can have a lot of fun screwing around with the lua files.
