More manipulation of body and chassis?

I feel that the car designer is missing freedom to change the body and chassis of the car. For example, you can only change the body a little bit, and you can't change the wheelbase and other important specs. I assume that it will be implemented in a update, but I just want to ask someone more knowledgeable about it. Besides this, the game is great, and I can't wait to see new features as they are implemented.

You won't be able to change the wheelbase of a specific body, but there will be lots of different bodies and variants of bodies to choose from, with lots of different wheelbases/track widths.

You can only change the body shape in within preset limits. Its done like this because some morphs can cause ugly 'crushings' in the body. I tried it myself with some modding and it was not so great

This was a modding test from me, and the only decent looking big modification on the sedan body. It didnt play very well and at some places the metal looked really crumpled.

But there will be more bodies with the next big update for sure, giving you more possibilities
