Re: windows 8?

As far as I know (and from a very brief test on a friend's machine) it works alright in windows 8.

Re: windows 8?

It is not officially supported, so it won't be added to any list.

Re: windows 8?

Yeah, my old laptop was windows 7 and automation ran really well. Now I have windows eight and it runs really poorly. You can still play it, but the engine testing is going to frustrating.

Are you sure that's because of windows 8 and not the different hardware of the new laptop?

Re: windows 8?

I recently reinstalled win 7 on my laptop, the game ran really slow afterwards, I forgot I had to change the graphics setting in control panel to use the nvidia card not the integrated set.
You can force on a program by program basis which to use and default for automation was integrated chip my machine
Perhaps it is something similar on yours

Ahh, that's actually a very common problem with the intel integrated + nvidia dedicated graphics combo, check that for sure.

Re: windows 8?

Just a quick add on I have had the game on windows 8 for a while now and have ran into no issues minus the little bugs that others have found.

Re: windows 8?

Runs fine on my laptop (Windows 8.1 64bit)
And it's not a computing monster but here's my specs anyway:
Processor: AMD A4-5000 APU Quad Core 1.5GHz
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 8330
HDD: 1TB
RAM: 8GB

Not sure if that will help but there you go.. :)
