Introducing the all-new Charm by Oakland Motor Company! The Charm is designed to be a fun, fuel efficient, versatile compact car that is easy on the wallet.


Charm is available in 3 different trim levels: Base, S, and R-spec.

The base trim level is designed for those who need a no-nonsense, reliable car without settling for a generic compact.

The 'S' trim level comes standard with power windows, power mirrors, fog lights, an enhanced appearance package and a 5 speaker sound system. Also available are an optional 1.6L engine, satellite radio, and an 8.1" Navigation system, among many other things!

The R-Spec trim level is for those who want a world class hot hatch. Charm R-Spec comes with a potent Turbocharged 1.6L that produces 154HP, race tuned suspension with independent rear suspension, short throw shifter, and a leather trimmed interior.

The R-spec version's turbo doesn't look very optimized though (too large!), maybe you could take another look at that one.

Thanks for the feedback, killrob! I'll take a look at what I can do about the turbo. I've never quite been able to get the turbo performing quite the way I want... Maybe I'll just go all in and drop a turbocharged 1.6L that makes ~250hp. That should be fun in a fiesta sized car!

over all its a very nicely put together proposal for a car and it comes with engine specifications as well the Turbo unit on the R-Engine needs to be set to I would say "Performance" and that should do it for your car, I hope...

This is the first generation of the Oakland Entourage. First sold in the early nineties, Entourage was designed as a competitor to mid-size vehicles such as the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. The Entourage distinguished itself from its competitors by utilizing a Rear-Wheel Drive based All-Wheel Drive layout. This was due to the fact that, at the time, Oakland Motor Company was having financial difficulties and didn't have a competitive enough FF sedan platform. The decision was made to design the Entourage on a recently developed AWD/RWD luxury platform instead. The gamble paid off and the Entourage was met with many positive reviews from auto journalists who praised the handling and high build quality not typically seen in American cars at the time. Auto enthusiasts loved the car because it was an affordable RWD (Some trims were available as either RWD or AWD) car that handled incredibly well due to it’s over engineered chassis. Sales, however, were not the greatest. The Entourage was marketed as a practical family car, but most families didn't like the idea of a RWD based car. The Entourage never lost its performance image and, at the end of the first generation, was replaced by a more traditional FF based sedan. Entourage was positioned slightly more up-market as an affordable performance sedan and has enjoyed great success since.





3rd Gen Entourage. One of my first designs that i was really proud of. I tried to make some unique tail lights. I think they turned out alright, but idk.





4th Gen Entourage. It uses the same design language as the new Charm RSpec. It would be powered by the RE61 straight-6 or ZJ21 V8. (Engines are posted at the bottom of the post)






The latest iteration of the Oakland Charm has been completely redesigned from the ground up to better compete with European hatches such as the VW Golf. The newest Charm is now a global car and is expected to capture a much larger market share in the European market compared to the previous generation. Charm will be offered in 4 trim levels:

Base: The base model has standard power locks, windows and ac.
Plus: The Plus trim level adds an 8-inch touch screen radio with Bluetooth streaming, and 16” alloy wheels. Base and Sport models are powered by the SD20 engine (4cyl, 121hp, 1.8L)

Sport: Adds leather trimmed interior, LED running lights, sportier 17” alloy rims, enhanced appearance package. It is powered by the SE21 Engine (4cyl, 160hp, 2.2L)

RSpec: Adds unique front fascia, lowered performance tuned suspension, Brembo disk brakes, flat-bottom leather wrapped steering wheel. It is powered by the ST21 Engine (4cyl turbo, 215hp, 2.2L) or the optional ST22B (4cyl turbo, 248hp, 2.5L)

Here is a bonus car. (I actually just forgot to upload it the first time )
I've been trying to design a high-end luxury car but could never come up with something that i thought looked good. I finally made something that I'm fairly happy with. Thoughts? Criticisms? This is a car that is supposed to compete with mid-high level BMW and Merc's. Do you think it looks the part?

This is the Mirai Concept car.

It's kinda a WIP, I started off trying to make a small crossover looking vehicle but couldn't make anything i was happy with. So I started messing around with parts and trying new things and then this happened. When i have more time, I'm going to try and remake it with a slightly shorter front end. It's more or less production ready. The top lights are LED running lights and the bottom lights are headlights/fog lights and turn signals. It's the same idea as cars like the Nissan Juke and the new Jeep Cherokee.

Anyways, I think it looks pretty cool, but what do you guys think? Would this sell very well or is it a car that should never see the light of day again?

I think in times like these, where most cars look actually more and more similar and most cars are just about being extremely economical and functional, a car like the Mirai would be a really nice breath of fresh air because it's just so different. It would be a car for car enthusiasts, right?
