The exhaust turbine in the I4 turns yellow around 4000 rpm and red around 5500.
Both compressor turbines turn yellow just before the 6500 rpm redline.
It's a small difference, and you don't even notice it unless you advance the throttle very slowly. Very strange.

I almost constantly get the wastegate light and both parts of the turbo turn red during manual testing and i cannot figure out why it happens or how to fix it. Often when I pick the preset turbo models too. Not sure if its something I am doing or what. lol
The function of a wastegate is to bleed off excess exhaust gas, the purpose of which is to prevent the turbo from exceeding the specified maximum boost level. The light simply indicates that it's now open and doing it's job, which is perfectly normal and not a bad thing. The red turbines mean that the turbo size is effectively limiting power engine power, but there is a balancing act involved here. Any turbo which stays green all the way to the rev limiter will also suffer from horrendous turbo lag and have no low end power. If driveability is of any concern then you have to trade off top end power, in which case a red turbo indicator is not entirely undesirable.

In the Aspiration category it has Compressor size, Turbine Size, AR Ratio, and Max boost.
which sizes are the compressor and turbine? Inducer or Exducer?
The sizes dont work right either. You should be able to go higher then 100mm on compressor and 109.5mm on turbine.
Make Single or Twin turbo choosable.
I also feel you need to introduce more fuels into the game. 110 octane, 116 octane, 120 Octane race fuel, Ethanol E85, and M1 Methanol would be nice.
This is a bit of a late reply. But the game is called Automation - The Car Company Tycoon game, not Automation - Top Fuel Dragster tycoon. I am unaware, or unable to find any country that has anything over 100 (102 max) RON available from a petrol station. I also doubt (although could be wrong, hard to find real data on this) that there are any production road cars with turbo's larger than 100mm compressor inducer. Maybe there might of been some Group B Rally homologation cars made with huge turbos, but they are hardly road cars.

Re: Turbo Update: Full Change-Log & Discussion
1: turbo spools too sudden. instead of building boost smoothly it just springs into action.
2: A/R ratio is way too restrictive. anything below .95 does not allow the engine to get exhaust gasses out properly
Re: Turbo Update: Full Change-Log & Discussion

Never mind, I'm still very impressed by the turbo update.
With the turbo boosting suddenly, I found when left to it's own devices the turbo on my 9000 spooled up very very suddenly (not good for gearbox/driveline) This was because it was using a manual boost controller rather than the ECU (thankfully i've mapped it right now though).

I think the turbocharger's size adjustment should be unlocked for any size engine not according to bore/stroke. This would make everyone here happy and bump the horsepower up for people looking for that extra power!
