Power @ < 9000rpm

I was trying to recreate a small bike engine that made maximum power @ 10500Rpm,
I can't get an engine to to make power any higher than 9000 Rpm.
Even with the cam profile set to max, short stroke / large bore.
Is there a way to get the engines make power that high?

We don't really have cam designs that go much past about 9000 as Automation is more focused around Road Car engines than bikes.

The Honda EA engine had peak power at 9,000RPM.

We should be able to build very high performance engines with cams such as this. According to the manufacturer the peak power is 10,000 RPM.

Suspect that might not actually make peak power at 10k, just make a useful powerband out to 10k, maybe peaking in the mid 9000s. But as demonstrated by rob, with some effort you can get it to peak up in the high 9000s, and continue making close to peak power out to 12k.

Re: Power @ < 9000rpm

I made a 11K engine, no problems, good curve too, keep stroke to a minimum at all cost!
so not really bike engine, but you get the idea.
