Test engine in car and receive acceleration data etc.

Hello,

Im just wondering if we will be able to test our engine in car we designer and receive acceleration data and all those kind of test params?
I know that we will not drive this car only get in some kind of information?

If yes - is this feature will be available in the same time that car designer will be unlocked for us?

I recommend looking at youtube videos that show of the car designer. link. even if things are likely to change before it gets released.

The video featuring a car and it's engine being built from scratch (the "Fleet hot hatch") shows lots of data on the car in the end of the clip, such as fuel consumption etc. so i presume that a similar yet improved feature of that kind will make it into the final release.

To be honest, it would be quite silly if it didn't, as you would never know if you have designed a masterpiece or a 4-wheeled crime against humanity if you couldn't get any test data .

Of course, the car design will be similar to the engine design, but of course the engine you designed will feed into the stats of the car
