Re: The "Awesome stuff I made in the I6 Update" Thread

I made the Ford Barra I6, found in the Falcon and Territory :D

It produces 186.5 kW @ 6200 RPM and 370 Nm @ 3800 RPM in-game compared to 190 kW @ 5000 RPM 380 Nm @ 3250 RPM.

It sounds awesome! Just need to do a bit more tuning and then I can't wait for the car-designer to be released and I can actually make the cars :D

First quick attempt at a Toyota 2JZ-GE, 221HP at 6600rpm, 288Nm at 3900rpm. Torque is about right, peak power is about right but a bit high up the rev range, so still needs a little work.

Looks like you accidently added direct injection though, pretty sure we don't have a DI one yet?

My mistake, :P I'll go back in and change it! Didn't even realize I put on DI. It's actually Multi-point xD

I am proud of having the most efficient engine here!

Of course there is a less efficient variant made by the Efficient Dynamics department from BMW

mount a cat there. Maybe it reduces efficiency further.

A good enough balance between cost, power and economy for me. I only used standard quality parts and regular unleaded fuel.

Whenever I reload the file some of the specs change. If this happens to you, lower the rev limiter from 8100 to 8000, raise the cam profile from 35 to 36, and lower the VVT profile from 72 to 71.

Edit: Still doesn't load correctly after the update. Now it alters the fuel mixture (13.8) and bore (86.0) instead. :(

Re: The "Awesome stuff I made in the I6 Update" Thread

You know that your design is a success when your engine can fit inside the exhaust!

I'm going to make a bunch of older I6's from cars as the Volvo 164 and the Volga when i get home. Hold your breath in extreme anticipation folks!

Re: The "Awesome stuff I made in the I6 Update" Thread

Ah someone who have the same thoughts as myself. B30 in my heart.(I6 in the Volvo 164) It sounds as beatiful as an engine ever could.

Sure, a V8 has really nice sound and roar to it, but I think that as a really powerful song, and that of a B30 as a powerful ballad.

A rather flawed replica of the M54B30
