BRC QuER - Hockenheim 1000 km 1976 [FIX]
Experimented with low weight solutions, and it seems "might is right", heavy car + MOAR POWAR is best, but damn, if it rains :\ My car already goes at half throttle at 150 not to burn tires, if there's LESS grip Im totally screwed.

yeah, i thought i was somewhat already overpowering it.
can't make my car that much heavier to put in bigger engines.
this time, i dread the rain. my grip level is super low
is that for ATT or the race Track?
if it's ATT, try aiming for 2:17 and lower
im already pass 2:16 in automation test track, but for Hockenheim aiming lower than 2:21 still far away for my current built, not to mention that turbo really destorying driveability but i really need speed for this track
Re: BRC QuER - Hockenheim 1000 km 1976 [OPEN]
well I'm doing 2.26 (race track) with yet unfinetuned suspension, reliable NA engine and quite low consumption... shit I think I know how that plays out...

i was building mine, until i realized, i haven't imported the track, and i was testing my car at the modern ring. derp
2:06 on the modern ring though

When you say aero is allowed....0 lips/1 wing, 1 lip/1 wing, or 2 lips? Or are other configurations allowed?
And I'm under 2:20 with N/A and no aero....

All configurations allowed. Do what you want.
Below 2:20 with NA? That's pretty awesome! If it is on Hockenheim

Right track...wrong calculatoin. 100kg underweight after engine swap.

Taking Hockenheim as very fuel heavy track at r=0.75 I'm looking at roughly 7-8 pitstops with my (now not so efficient or reliable but a bit faster) NA. Does that sounds OK? Because to me refuelling every 20 laps seems quite a lot.

That should be fine I guess.
Another note: I will do a pre-season test training over 20 laps on Wednesday (because it is neccessary). Make sure you send your first iteration until then if you want to be in

Current I6 engine squeezes 158hp per litter...... now if only automation would ever save my car...2nd time I have lost 3+ hours of work after closing and reopening the game....

Make sure to properly 'quit' the game via the start menu. Pressing the 'x' button on the window will break your cars.

I make sure to exit normally every time. This seems to happen every time I move my old cars to my long term save folders to clear up the in-game car selection menu. I usually have to delete all the folders in the documents area to get it to work again (which I forgot to do of course)..... le sigh

Target lap times for being competitive with turbo could be around 2:21 and for NA around 2:24 (a rough guess based on how much more fuel the turbos need). But I heard that someone already had a 2:19. Don't ask how much fuel that one needed or what the reliability was like
Turbo competitive times 2:21 at Hokenheim.... well then..... all this work was for nothing I see
