I was watching a show called horsepower tv a few months ago and they built a 4 valve push rod engine. I was wondering if this would be added to the game?

Are there any production cars that have 4 valve pushrods? If not, then it's not worth putting in game. The Developers would like to focus on technologies that are already on production vehicles with decent usage.

There are, but only diesels, and some rare aftermarket V8 heads.

Yeah that's right horsepower tv is an American v8 tuning show so that's probably why I saw it.

ARAO, Thunder Power and some aftermarket heads for Harley engines is the only i have heard of.

All the marine diesels I work with have 4 valve pushrod heads, however they don't rev above 3000 rpms. Its a lot to ask of pushrods to move that much valvetrain mass at higher rpms.

It makes plenty of power, but greatly limits your rev range, and it removes the key advantages of pushrod engines, namely reliability, low weight and low cost.
