Re: Signature Rules [IN EFFECT]

I'd suggest keeping the text that size, but making the overall size like 1/3 - 1/2 smaller, otherwise you have far more space taken up in a thread with signatures than posts :P

So something like this?

I took out a line of text and cropped some dead space off of the edges

Shawa666,

Yes, that is better, but there is no need for the extra test post. When you update your signature, all of your posts, past and present, get updated.

Re: Signature Rules [IN EFFECT]

Dunno, I find even those images distractingly large; on my notebook screen (1366x768), I can literally only see two lines of content.

Re: Signature Rules [IN EFFECT]

Even on my full HD screen they feel too big, although I run with a little bit of zoom.
I definately would say shawa's signature is too big.

You can't fault him for not abiding to the rules, his is 850x200, perfectly legal.

Re: Signature Rules [IN EFFECT]

I had the same problem. I downloaded something (Jeta something-or-another), which is free and works quite nicely. That's how I ended up with the Evgenis badge. It should be able to do what you want, and it is very simple to use (from my experience)

Re: Signature Rules [IN EFFECT]

Inkspace is a very good image processing system. It has loads of functions. However, it has a bit of a learning curve, but nothing that some help and tutorials can't solve.

My badge was made by NormanVauxhall using it and the ATCC artwork was made by Der Bayer, then subsequently altered by Jakgoe and then me, all using that programme.
