Ah, he was wrong about the speed record, but don't go off on him about the video link. The Youtuber he linked to has nearly 150k subscribers; they don't need free advertisement.

That being said, should I up the ante and post details of my current build?

Very well. Here's the upped ante then:

Clearly engine reliability is 0, after ventilation. By itself the engine does have a greater than 0 reliability. The trick is balancing the minimum aero with weight, seeing Vos' build tipped me off.

Are you running that in the supercar shell!? That's impressive, I didn't think more than about 2780 was possible.

Negative. Stuffed that in the '50's body. But still. I can't break 407 in the supercar. It's fucking annoying.

Re: Bask in the glory of my apocalyptic magnificence.

Put a couple of lips (and only lips, no wings, too much drag) on the front and the back, make the undertray fully clad (I think you already have done this), set all aero angles to 0. Make the wheels 19" and start lightening until the tyres blow, and go from there. If you're still not breaking 403, increase power.

There IS a solution with no lips and a downforce tray only but it's very slightly slower, though for the purposes of drag nearly identical.

God dammit. What more can I do?

I hate you Strop. I hope you get the most angry and vicious ass cancer known to science and die a death so agonizing, Satan issues a public apology.

Re: Bask in the glory of my apocalyptic magnificence.

sigh, you're not the first person to mistakenly post that. You're a bit late to the party:

We're in a whole new realm of fast now (418mph, that is), and the OP has also increased his build to something like 412mph or something. He hasn't updated his signature yet though...

Really? After all that advice I gave you, you go and get all possessive about the thread?

Gives me half a mind to pump out another 20hp from the engine and see if I can't give you another target to tilt at :P
