About:

Born 1985 @ very small town in Finland.
I was interested in cars before I could walk. I started driving a car (not on public roads) in the age of 7.I actually bought my first own car when I was in 5th grade. It was badass Toyota Corolla KE20. We had lot's of fun with that car on the ice and gravel roads nearby.
I also got interested in computers and gaming when I was young, and have been playing since.
So that brings me to the world of Automation :D

Vehicles Currently Owned: Citroên C4 II 1.6 HDI (French guy like french cars :))

Dream Garage Vehicles: Honestly, I'm not an hardcore fan of cars, so... I don't know.

Previous vehicles : Renault Clio and Citroën Saxo

How did you find us: I've seen the Greenligh presentation, got hooked by the video about engine basics. Like I said, I'm not a fan of engines / cars, but I learned more in several hours in your game than days with my dad, fixing / repairing family cars (my dad is a quite good mechanic).

About:

Hardcore gamer on PC and console, I love "complex" games, those kinds of games with lots of options, graphs, figures, etc... The kind of games that got you hooked in its world, and you can't keep thinking of it, even when not playing it. The kind of games that other people describes as "horrible, ugly games with lots of boring figures and graphs", until you answered "you can't understand...".
Automation is in my Top 5 of this kind of games.

I was lucky enough to find Automation while browsing on my bb and took me 2 months to get it, may I say awesome work so far, the game is very in-depth and very complex, it must be a daunting task but will be worth it in the end so please keep up the good work "DEV Team" and I can`t wait for more, I will spread the word about Automation in SA and try and help it grow, so with that I will say bye for now and can`t wait to meet every one in the community.

Regards, Jazeel

How did you find us? Possibly a link on Facebook

Last spring I got really interested in alternative fuels as the fuel prices (at least here in Finland) kept on rising (it's now about 1,7 € a liter). I thought about getting a diesel car but then I found out about flexifuel cars and fuel and swapped my trusty Subaru to the cheapest new flexifuel sedan on our market. Ethanol fuel costs 1,1 € a liter.

I got a "working" plastic model engine from my wife last christmas which was fun to build but Automation seems a lot better a way to learn about engines and how they work. I have as long as I can remember been interested in cars but never really took the trouble to find out exactly how they work.

How did you find us? Google, by accident.

About me.

I spent years playing with Engine Analyzer Pro and been looking for a program like this forever. I used to love to tweek and pretend to be a company by design the engine first then running the car through Drag race analyzer. Id record the specs and data on a spreed sheet and develope the cars. It was very primitive. Automation seem like a dream come true.
