Previous Vehicles of Interest: Well.. Ford’s?

How did you find us? Every now and then I google for a game like this and now I finally found it. Well actually I found this couple of months ago but I just registered now

Hope you guys are keeping it together and relatively “simple”, and not trying to squeeze in too much super detailed features into this game just because someone asked for it on the forums. That is actually my biggest fear with this game. Otherwise finishing the game will last forever and even when its finished, it would just be bloated with meaningless micromanagement and half broken features. I don’t think anyone would be happy with that kind of result. That said I still think that some sort of racing should definitely be in, and that it should be a bit more deep system than just deciding how much money you want to invest into it.

About:

I absolutely adore the Automation project. Never thought, that someone might want to get and really start working on non-mainstream game for people that really love cars and automotive racing or management games. I wonder just where to send my money ("Shut up and take my money!"), because I want to support the whole car-nerds community here. :)

About:

I've always been interested in cars... pretty sure since before I knew how to talk. Up until recently I was in the Air Force, but I got injured and got an early discharge. Currently I'm working at an independent BMW shop while going to school full time to be a mechanical/auto engineer. I'm also rebuilding an '88 325i Convertible from the ground up. Building an M20 stroker engine to put into it, which should be putting about 225HP to the rear wheels. I loved my turbocharged 325iX, but it was just too much for me. Maintenance is about 2-4 times what a normal E30 cost, so I traded it for the convertible, help rebuilding it, and access to a virtually unlimited parts bin.

Hi!

After a few weeks playing the demo and reading the forum, I found out that I missed this topic.
So, here's my introduction:

Name: Antonio "calicoe"

Occupation: Clinical Research Associate

Location: Madrid, Spain

Interests: games, technology, biotechnology, anything with an engine: cars, planes, ships...

Vehicles Currently Owned: Alfa Romeo Brera Q4 V6, Alfa Romeo MITO 1.4 Multiair Turbo (yes, I'm alfisti)

Dream Garage Vehicles: Mitsubishi Evo VI, Subaru Impreza STI, Maserati Gran Turismo, Aston Martin Vanquish

Previous Vehicles of Interest: Seat Ibiza 1.9TDI (nice car, engine finally not so reliable...)

How did you find us?
I wanted to find if there was any car tycoon game, apart from Detroit, Motor City and Car Tycoon... And Automation appeared!

About:
I like anything with an engine (although my job hasn't anything to do with it).
About cars, I used to race on classic car's "regularity" rallys with some good results.
We began with an Authi Mini 1300, wich was really the Austin (UK) Mini built in Spain under license.
Then, we moved on an Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce.
Now, I'm retired (and also, due to the crisis the amount of competitions has decreased).

About:

I'm 23, have an s2000 (sorry if i keep repeating that), play games, etc.

As most of you who are reading this have probably done the same, is think of a perfect game for a particular genre. One of mine was to have a game where you design engines, and would you adam and eve it - we have one right here! I couldn't believe that some brave heroes have finally started to make this game! and how far it's gotten! i'll be keeping an eye on this project and hope things progress to completion soon. Already showed my support by becoming a turbocharged member =P
