old is gold right?, how about a challenge where you take retro cars and rebuild them with modern technology

quality sliders must be 0 (they are some exceptions)

year: 2015
car bodies from 1940-1960

engine layout: rear engine, can be rwd or awd
wheel base: under 3 meters
chassis: monocoque
material and panel material: carbon fibre
suspension: any
LIPS and SPOILER is a must, everything else is up to you if you want to make them street legal

engine displacement: as long it fits in the rear
engine type: all except v12 because it have no turbo yet
turbo: yes
intake: race
catalytic converter: none
mufflers: straight trough
fuel: 100 octane
minimum reliability: 30

gearbox: sequential (single or double doesnt matter)
tyres: any
brakes: carbon ceramic
seats: minimum (for some it will be 2, but for some 4)
interior:basic -15 slider (exception)
entertainment: none
safety: advanced 10s can use quality sliders (exception)
driver assists: all of them

the cars will be rated by lap time around a track that you will suggest

list of people who have joined 5/30

increase tyre width

You're still having us use a rear engine layout which limits us in body choice and engine choices. Unless you de-restrict that to AT LEAST MR + RR then all we get is a full field of not-porsche 356 bodies.

If the field is MR + RR you can bet the poor suckers who use RR are going to get pwnt hard. The main problem is we don't have much in the way of RR yet.

I may have been too hardcore... My 730+ hp V6 tt prosche 356 lookalike cant even be tested before the tires commit suicide

RR is really tough to find that fine line between exploding tires and putting the power down. It's not the easy platform to make fast, though I think that's why I'm having fun building for it.

I presume that some of these are mods though.

If anything, the RR aspect of this makes it more worthwhile, because this is an aspect of the game that is underdeveloped for now and thus doesn't have a lot of attention yet.

Strop, set the Rear Engine tab and you'll see the choices. There's quite a few just in the base game. I'm working on something that's not the not-Porsche for my build.
