Re: Themed Car Challenge (Season 1 , Round 3) [VOTE]

^ it was 2.78m.

i finished a car, and was relatively okay with it. but then i see the competition and think i might try something else, since i dont think i'd be winning with that car.

so i made that wagon, which im proud of, but in the end i forgot all bout that wheelbase :hammer:

@Koolkei: So I guess we won't be buying a wagon...at least not your wagon :P

Also to answer your previous question about if the type of vehicle matters. For me it plays a role. After all, I am the customer; I want what's best for my money, and therefore I'll look at vehicles and stats that appeal to me if I was looking for a car in a given market. I'm not going to go for the cheapest car if there are alternatives that aren't that much more expensive that provide better stats in other areas. Just like I won't buy the most expensive car with the best options if there is a cheaper car that isn't as well optioned, but isn't significantly worse overall. That's probably obvious, but everyone has a different threshold/opinion of what is an acceptable expenditure for what you are getting (again probably obvious).

Now where does car type come into play? If I'm on the fence about two options I'll look at the ad and try to make out what type of car it is or what it looks like. I'll pick the better looking car if they are the same type or pick the type of car I like better (again assuming it looks better). Personally, I've never liked wagons or hatchbacks. The only hatch I've ever liked was after driving my buddy's Golf GTI and I think most would agree that's a little bit above your standard hatch. For me, Sedan=coupe>hatch>wagon. Unless you make a particularly nice looking car then that will win-out. Perhaps that's peculiar, but that's me.

Sorry if that's too off-topic Pyrlix
