Because most of them can't drive worth a damn and are killed by snap oversteer when trying to show off?

Ricers prefer Miatas and S2000s over MR2s for a reason.

I disagree. Ricers prefer Honda Civics, Accords, CR-Xs, Acuras, Nissan 200s and 240s, Altimas and Sentras, Mazda Proteges, 3, and 5 series.. Miatas are more of the Tuner segment, as most 'ricers' dismiss the MX-5 as being too much of a girly car.

Mid and rear engine cars are far more notorious for it.

Yup, I wanted to create a good RR car, No luck with that. it was a death trap unless I put much wider tires in the rear

Re: Riceburner Challenge - Defining Rules Stage

Need to lay out the scoring thing. It's not dead, I've just not had enough free time to be able to sit down and think about it. Shall be done this weekend.

Re: Riceburner Challenge - Accepting Entries.

Right. I've edited the OP with some information relating to the scoring system. In a nutshell, all you (and I?) know is that you're going to be judged on your lap times around the airfield, and the stats listed in the OP. I've not put any exact values because it depends on how many entries we get. With that done, entries are now open and there will be 15 places. I hope to god I haven't missed anything important and if I have, please do tell me ASAP.

Edit: Couple of last minute rule changes in the "Car rules" section.

Re: Riceburner Challenge - Accepting Entries.

:( I know the feel.

On the bright side, there's still plenty of time for you to submit. Speaking of which, the deadline for entries is the 26th of November.

Only one entry so far. If you're going to enter, do it ASAP!
