Now, I reopened the competition, because Automation released a few weeks ago the v6 stable version, and I have time :)

Only I received 2 or 3 entries (please, re-sent me now due the new engine calculations).

Only 2 submissions since I created the challenge.

I changed some rules, and maked the rules more easily to understand.

With this, I will say that I restarted the challenge, and the entries is now open until the 28th February 2016.

Let's go!

Yes! Finally! A proper touring car style competition. I'll have a submission for you soon.

Before too many people submit, I'd like to suggest a change in your naming convention as your current system is unwieldy and doesn't fit the allocated space in the game... :geek:

CAR: DTM93-<Username>

TRIM: Road or Race-<Company><Model designation>

ENGINE: DTM93-<Username>

Variant: Road or Race-<engine Code>

As you can see, this will allow for much easier compliance without errors and make things easier for us as we tune our entries :D

Ok. Thanks for the suggestion!

I erased 2 issues: electronic diffs and downforce aero (because in 1993 isn't available).

I changed the sliders restriction for the engine: from +12 to +14.

And the body and frame material.

What is meant by "Minium Security" in the rules?

Minimum safety. Is the problem when you write the rules after driving a car with the most powerful drug: turbo  (note: my only car that the family uses is a 2012 toyota verso 1.6, and in some months I will start the autoschool).

Thanks for the clarification.

Hola amigo ;)

This could be interesting to me but frankly I dont like so many rules. Are all these restrictions of quality sliders etc really necessary? Why make race intakes & exhausts mandatory, or limit the use of entertainment? (the drivers may want to listen to some nice music during the race)

Do you have a link to the Class 1 Touring car rules? I only found wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class_1_Touring_Cars where it says: maximum 4 valves per cylinder and 2.5L

Oh, thanks for the class a rules!

And the quality sliders, I will quit the restriction. Yep. Is a "bit" restrictive.
