Re: 1993 DTM [SUBMISSIONS OPENED until 28th February]

Are you changing the rules on the fly? I am pretty sure restricting tyres to +10 was not there when I started building.

Also the rules are contradicting each other:

-The body, frame, panels and add-ons (headlighs, wings, air vents...) quality slider MUST BE set to 0. The rest of trim sliders are free to use.
-Max. 300 Tyre Width, 18" rim diameter and 660mm wheel, Slick compound and set the quality slider to +10.

I doesnt changed the rules at the fly.

Only the tires slider is restricted because only is available a tyre supplier in the competition.

Ok, no problem bro. Somehow I had thought that it appeared over the weekend.

P.S. Like Air Resistance Jordan said, what about the previous questions. I asked about setting up aero for fast and slow tracks.

P.P.S. Another one, can we have more than 1 lip/wing? The rules dont explicitly say.

Ok. I didn't looked this message.

The production cars will be scored only in this tabs: engine, base cost, top speed, 0-60mph (0-100km/h) and lap time, and the race calculations it works with laps.

The drivability is included in the track calcs. And the MPG, I don't know if in the 1990-1996 the refuel in the DTM it was available.

You can set up the car before any race. Only I need to sent me the aero and gear values.

And, you can put only a rear wing, and 2 lips: one in the front and one in the rear.

Re: 1993 DTM [SUBMISSIONS OPENED until 28th February]

Only an advise: remember that you can change the body and chassis material in your racecar:

1. Make your street car, with engine, put the rules name format, save, and export them.

2. Go to documents/my games/automation/export (Steam version), or documents/automation/export, and rename the zip, putting this in the final: for example, if the exported folder is called Montes_T30, add in the final the trim name: in this case, Montes_T30-Road (put the -Road suffix). This step is very important to make well the next steps.

3. Modify the saved (NOT EXPORTED) car and engine in the game. Select a new chassis and frame material..., setup all that you think that is convenient, but accomplishing with the rules, rename according with the rules file format, save and export.

4. Change the zip name like as the step 2, but with the suffix -Race instead -Road.

Due the open beta, and this changes the market price, the street cars only it will be used to compare with the race car, and not as a street car comparison.
