Well, that was a blast and a half. So, if you'd like, I have some more ideas for races, and if you're game I'll make them.

This challenge was really interesting. Everyone seemed to be very good at very different things. That is to say, until Strop, in all his horsey-ness showed up. Asshole.

Re: Ultimate FWD Challenge Episode 2!

Why no price limit? This is just going to result in who can make the best car with +15 everything.

Also which bodies can we or can't we use? This has to be clear.

And I don't really see the point of the minimum HP.

No price or quality because this is all about fun. Sheesh

As stated, you can use any body that can house a FWD engine and gearbox

And the Minimum HP is to get a bit of a laugh

Re: Ultimate FWD Challenge Episode 2!

Time to break wrists, snap halfshafts, and bang off the limiter. 8-) I'll try to get something together tonight. In no way am I going to be testing this on tracks, this is going to be nothing more or less then the fastest, most powerful fwd car I can produce.

How's it too open ended?
Step 1:Build a car.
Step 2:Make sure its FWD.
Step 3:Make it go fast.

Re: Ultimate FWD Challenge Episode 2!

How fortuitous, I already have a car for this from some weeks back.

It was built as an aside while trying to figure out if I could make an FF car as fast as a hypercar, before thinking wait, who in their right mind wants an FF hypercar.

Then I thought, wait, this is Gryphon Gear. Why the hell not!? Result: just wait til you see the Green Hell time. It'll make you poop your pants.

Re: Ultimate FWD Challenge Episode 2! First Entry!

Well like I said i didn't really tune this beast on tracks, at least it's faster round the ring then my company's budget hyper car, I would not want to hold the wheel during a hard launch though...

Here is my entry. It's a tribute to the Honda CRX and the tuning community built around these iconic cars! :D
