To make matters worse, I had a bowling tournament on Sunday which took up the bulk of the day, so I was unable to do it then. I'll attempt to do it later today after checking the very last contestant.

Did you win the bowling tournament?

Re: Formula Automation - 1990 Formula One Season

Finally updating everything, pardon the delay. Green hell was mighty nasty towards some competitors, others escaped it's fury. Let's find out who got burnt and who came out better than ever.

First off, I'd like to congratulate BlasterPewPew on winning the speed challange! He clocked in at a whopping 231.5 MPH, beating second place by 8.2 MPH and the winner of this race by 20.2 MPH. Well done.

Now for the leaderboards. The top three shall have their times listed, if you all wish that I list everyone's times, just tell me.
1st - victorgarcia - 7:10.34 - 20 Points
2nd - strop - 7:11.40 - 15 Points
3rd - Elouda - 7:11.61 - 12 Points
4th - Sayonara - 10 Points
5th - BlasterPewPew - 9 + 5 = 14 Points
6th - Packbat - 8 Points
7th - Lothoren - 7 Points
8th - DanKolov - 6 Points
9th - Zabhawkin - 5 Points
10th - HighOctaineLove - 4 Points
11th - UMGaming - 3 Points
12th - 07CobaltGirl - 2 Points
13th - 3rayman3 - 1 Point
14th - Oskiinus - 0 Points

Based on the current point scores here's the Standings
1st - victorgarcia - 20 Points
2nd - strop - 15 Points
3rd - BlasterPewPew - 14 Points
4th - Elouda - 12 Points
5th - Sayonara - 10 Points
6th - Packbat - 8 Points
7th - Lothoren - 7 Points
8th - DanKolov - 6 Points
9th - Zabhawkin - 5 Points
10th - HighOctaineLove - 4 Points
11th - UMGaming - 3 Points
12th - 07CobaltGirl - 2 Points
13th - 3rayman3 - 1 Point
14th - Oskiinus - 0 Points

I'd say this proves that the weekly challenges do make a difference. The standings and race results will also be on the main page. Please do start sending in your tunes, the next race will be 5/30 because I will be on vacation this weekend and I want to give you plenty of time to enter your applications.

I think having all the times would be nice, but I'm not seriously bothered by not having them. :)

Well, that was close! This will probably be a close one throughout, given that I tend to go stronger in Green Hell, and I've no intention of nabbing any bonus points... Time to up the ante!

Nice, I was in the top ten so that's encouraging :)

But the most important question that needs answering is...

Re: Formula Automation - 1990 Formula One Season

...I'm not sure what the Tuning Rules restrict me from doing. Could I - for example - change from 5-valve to 4-valve-VVL heads as long as they were made of the same material? Or is it just tuning - cam profile, fuel mixture, etc., etc., etc.?

Tuning Rules
1. You cannot completely replace the engine or body.
2. You cannot modify materials. Exceptions are the wheels and interior.
3. Modifying quality is not allowed.
4. You cannot replace the gearbox or differential, but you can modify top speed, speed per gear, and front-back application of power.

If it isn't specifically restricted, it is fair game. :D

I would interpret the first/second rule as keeping in the same family, and model.

The other two are pretty specific already.

Let's just say I did awful Octane. 153, 210, 153.

Packbat, I'm agreeing with Cobalt on this one.

Damn, still, 210s a damn sight better than my best (169).

(Though I'm not competitive and that was using house balls...)

How come I'm not on the results? I submitted my car in time and didn't hear anything back?

I'd like to see all the times if it's not too much effort to post them, it's interesting to see how everybody does relative to each other.
