I invite you to participate in the Top15 sports cars challenge. A relatively easy challenge to prove that your car company can produce the fastest car around a track without having to sell one of your kidneys to buy it nor needs a gas truck following it. Since this car would just be a prototype to measure your company’s (insert whatever comes to mind here) there are no emission nor loudness restriction although safety will be considered since Not-The-Stig has to test and won’t do it if is not safe or reliable enough. In this competition the judges (me myself and I) would make sure that all the cars meet the minimum requirements of what a sports car would be in terms of sportiness, weigh and number of doors. To participate you just have to post your entrance with the 3 screenshots listed below and make sure your car meets the minimum requirements.

This two definitions don't merge together in my european point of view.
But... your call. ;)

What do you exactly mean im open to suggestions since nobody has submitted anything yet .Except for the price i decided those facter based on a Toyota Supra, Golf R ,and Ford focus RS. Then the price is just an amount the IMO is fair to have to play with but yea if you have any ideas ill lesten to them

When it comes to price, I would agree that at least in terms of "total build costs" (as displayed in Automation), 16k gives you a lot of freedom. The kind of car you would get out of that kind of budget would easily exceed that which you could get out of, say, a Ford Focus RS, particularly if you've stripped it out for racing.

But that you mention those specific examples gives us an idea of what you mean. I don't think many of us would have considered a Golf R 'low budget'. Or a Supra small. Supra is kind of, you know, a GT class sized car

About the production costs.
16000$ it's a supercar production cost.
My BMMS Blue Marlin for the CTC (viewtopic.php?f=39&t=5088&start=30#p51523) was a sportscar and had a production cost of 10.000$ dead. A supercar to me (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=2858&start=20#p64517) cost 16000$.

About the size.
This is personal, and I perfectly agree that you can set the displacement and weight ratio as you did.
For me (italian) a small budget sportscar it's anything around the price of an MX-5 with similar "fun", but, as I said, it's just my point of view.

For the price however, 16.000 is too high. I gave you some reference (and my car are usually economical to build). I found that the "small budget" it's a bit out of the line with this cost limit.

However, your competition, your rules.

Ur right there i just set it up like that so is fun to build and u can put some fancy frame/gearbox/brakes/engine components if you want so im going to just edit the low cost part and just leave it as a high performance limited budget thingy.

Does this mean a Golf R cannot compete in this? It can be as much as 1495kg based on configuration.

we should ask for some comfort, say 35

that would make it hard

i want to make this competitive in the track time aspect not really building parameters and also simple so new players can also have a chance.Since the challenge is focused in a sports car and most thing that affect sportiness cap you in comfort i find it would limit creativity too much for the nature of this challenge but thank you for the colaboration. ;)

yes but it was just used as an example of the style of car that we are looking for in this competition. Pretty much a compact high performance coupe or hatchback that is not super expensive and can go around a circuit in a good time.

To be fair, costs have changed since the update. If you tried to recreate this car (which is very good I must say!), I think it will have lower fuel economy and will cost more, so you can't really compare costs from a previous version to the current one.
