Budget Speed

Welcome to the Budget Speed challenge presented by Upshift magazine!

The challenge is simple: To create the best sport compact your company can, while costing no more than $10,000 to make.

Rules!

Vehicle must be front engined
Vehicle must cost less than $10,000 to manufacture
Vehicle must get atleast 30 MPG
Vehicle must be powered by either an I4 or I6 engine - No V8s!
Vehicle must be RWD
Vehicle must be made in the 2015 model year

Judging areas!

Styling - How good your car looks
Handling - How your car takes a corner
Power - Judged by Jeremy Clarkson
Usability - How well can your car cope with everyday life?

Another tourney YESSSSS.

btw, do you have a particular scoring system? Some of us are quite curious as to how the data applies, where possible, and how the non-objective areas might be assessed as part of the whole.

Styling - Judged by examining the cars styling :P
Handling - Average of Sportiness score and airfield lap time in seconds
Power - Average of HP and TQ numbers
Usability - Average of Comfort, Reliability, and Tameness

Yup, another test of my ability to make the best leaderboard fillers in all of Automation! :lol: :P :lol: :P :lol:

Usability should also take into account "Utility" That would entail groceries, luggage, everyday things.

I like the fact it is RWD only, cant have everything in a car. Just make a really nice RWD sport compact and you should be fine :)
