It seems someone doesn't want Nardo and really wants the Green Hell :P

Nardo is a "strange" circuit, could be a bit off for a championship... that's why I've limited the chanche to a single number. And the green hell... well, it's a good allarounder circuit... and... it's the green hell XD

Yay! My tiny oval made for testing purposes is in the list

P.S: This challenge is perfect for the facelifted AR45 Achernar, we basically grabbed the stock 1.5 liter version and with some minor modifications it's already good for the track

Why not swap nardo for mt panorama, then? That'd be more suitable as a trophy race! Though a high speed chase could balance things out too...

Also NO AERO. That'll make things really interesting!

Let's see here, time for some math.

(Strop + 1992 build year)/(1.6L - Turbo) x 4 cylinders = ... 350 HP?

Alright, now that that's out of the way... I give you your last-place competitor*, the Suzume Renga 1.6R-Limited.

* Will be second to last place competitor in the event that Bogliq enters something.

 you flatter me Vic... In this case a bit too flattering. My estimate is Max 100hp, and that's really pushing it :(

Also that no aero thig like lol I honestly think I am going to struggle!

So this competition looked like way too much fun not to participate. And I'm on a real "real cars tuned beyond reason" kick now. So I shall present to you, the 1992 not-Golf Mk.III Stage 2!

In slightly chavved up form

1.6L inline 4 FF 1992 car pretty much perfectly sums up a not-Golf Mk.III, so I couldn't resist. When I say "Stage 2", I mean Stage 2 NA engine tune, and Stage 2 weight reduction. Which is to say, I then took a lot of money out of all the parts not to do with going faster, and put it all into the GO TIME center. As VicVictory predicted, it pushes out... a fair amount of power*. And since I cheaped out on build materials, while it sports the usual a spaceframe aluminium chassis with plastic panels, the whole thing is... rather light. Giving it a giggle-inducing power to weight ratio that, with no driving aids, yields a rather large wheelspin penalty... Let's just say this thing doesn't launch particularly well.

Once it gets going though, it will blow a 2012 Mk.VII GTI off the track. I am satisfied with this.

* God no, not 350hp. I WISH I could get that much out with the budget.

As I just retired my 1992 1.6 liter corolla to a parts yard I'm gonna dedicate this build to her. Bring on the 4age!

Welp, I'm screwed. I couldn't get the safety up to the minimum requirement without (ahem) heavier door paneling. Even through using higher end safety components.

We can't afford a driver death in this championship. Remember that older bodies have safety penalty... are you using a recent body?

Well here's my car for the TROPHY! It's the 1992 Bavaria 160Ti Sportwagen MK (Motorsport Klasse).

It got some useable horsepower and nice grip! :)

Inspired by the sporty corolla FX16 Hatchback here is my entry, powered by a CPV tuned slivertop 4A-GE.

The smallest body I could find that didn't say it had a safety penalty.
