My previous challenge/competition was a visual one as well, and this shall as well.
Your mission is to create an all new car, and then make a poster/advertisement for it.
There will be three categories:
1: Poster
2: Picture Ad
3: Video Ad
The video ad category will only happen if enough people join in (at least 3)

RULES:
1: The car can be something you've already made, but you can't enter with some ad/poster you've released/shown to the public.
2: The year must be 1990-1995, if the design looks newer or older than the early 90's, it won't be accepted.
3: If your entry looks newer than early 1990's, if you don't release the car to the public, you can use it for the next series. (1995-1999)
4: You can only enter one per category, which means you can enter one in each category, and three all together.
5: Your first PM for each category counts as an entry, so no revisions.
6: (BAD) Example of poster: (Note: this was made very quickly and i prefer you to put much more effort into it.)

7: An advertisement must have more info than that, a poster does not need text.
8: Send to me by PM, if poster or picture ad, file format would be preferred either .jpg or .png

Poster rules:
1: Keep low on text.
2: Text isn't even necessary.
3: Level of how artistic it isn't limited.
4: Car must be in the picture.

Ad rules:
1: More text than poster.
2: Video ads format would be preferred to be either MP4, Avi, Mov, or wmv.
3: Please include starting price.
4: Car must be in the picture/video.
5: Picture ads format would be preferred to be either png or jpg.

Entry deadline is 1.6.2015, or at the latest before the end of the judging, which ends a week later.
(If you enter your car/ad during the judging period, it might not be accepted, due to some judges only available on the beginning of judging)
There will also be a poll after the judging period, so the winner is counted 50/50 jury and community votes.
So just relax and take your time to make your entry.

LOOKING FOR JUDGES, HOWEVER A JUDGE CANNOT SUBMIT AN ENTRY.

Oh this is GREAT. There are a number of people I know who are masters of the retro ad, and photoshop, and the like, I hope they do enter! I'll see if I can cook something up while I'm at it. Plenty of deadline to work with too.

If I can find someone who is good artistically who doesn't want to build a car, can we team up? Because I like the car building, but unless you want the ad to be a drawing of a stick figure, I suck at the artistry stuff.

Apparently jpg images can't be attached to private messages so should I zip it?

Awesome idea! Except I dont like the fact the entries need to be created for this competition, especially for video ads. It took me one month to create my last video ad so id be unlikely to enter a video ad because by the time id finish, it would be past the deadline. also I have a fixed car lineup - what if I've done all my cars? I have an idea for only 7 models in my company.

I guess it depends on how much art is in the ad and how complex it is; my first video took only 1 weekend because it was relatively simple compared to the dyno one.

I only know of one other company that has made video ads (Camoria), so a competition like this would be great to bring awareness to our creations because a lot more time goes into making a video than a static piece of art.

I don't have the time or resources for the video myself. Poster and picture ads are all I can do for now.

Yes it is if you look at the rules it explains the time limit. But IF there are no more entries than this, which i hope if you enter don't hurry it, i will cancel the competition. But i just really hope i don't have to do that.
