This challenge is rather...wierd. It's basically a "bang for the buck" performance contest, yet we're supposed to beat a car that's insanely expensive, weighs over two tons, and is running on bicycle tires? I don't get it.

No, no. We're supposed to build a car, age it for 15 years in a parking lot, then see whether it can go around the Test Track in under a minute-twenty seconds. We abandon the car, then test it.
