Re: The Farm Truck Challenge (Stage 2 - Closed, Tallying Sco

Just have to say I really understand if you won't add us with late revisions, yet of course I hope you do. I only got me being retart and forgetting rules, combined with no internet to blame, which is all out of your control. The frustration probably comes because it is such a great challenge and you've done a great job! To quote:

stensen wrote:Looks like ill make my shity (at least for this one) truck a little more shity and hope for the best :) im fine with either decision, deserved my disqualification with submitting so late and not reading the rules carefully.

Couldn't have said it better myself

So yeah, I resubmitted now but definitely no hard feelings in any case. I would be happy to tag along but rules are rules :)

PS: my truck is doing ATT in 2.12.55 and GH 8.12.86 while keeping old engine :)

Damnit, that is faster than mine, I think, by a really small margin!!!

DQ, I say, DQ! (just kidding, I know I didn't go all out on the fuel richness and my engine was hardly the most potent so I can hardly begrudge not being fastest.)

 fair play strop...fair play  now I regret I did not go for full richness... it's just 23l/100km (or sth like that) seemed like bad enough.

So my 7.39.59 on GH wasn't too bad then? :P

My apologies, couldn't help myself. But I totally ruined the truck for it, so definitely not worth it if I was trying to win

Mine's not quite that fast, but I was only a couple seconds slower.

Oh, I was trying to do well, too, but I doubled my engine's horsepower. Not quite as crazy, but hilariously overpowered.

Re: The Farm Truck Challenge (Stage 2 - DEADLINE 1/24)

Folks, I have made a mistake in presenting to you the false hope that the rejected entries may be accepted. While I do believe that the poll results warrant that I could permit an extension with the blessings of the community, the following quote explains why I cannot.

thecarlover wrote:Let me know when you've finished checking/reviewing all the trucks as I have an update for the pickup body that would change some things (namely morphs and drag coeffcient) and could skew the results, so I figure I'll wait until this competition is finished before I post the update. On the bright side, the double cabs can get bigger and versions with bed covers now exist.

The new versions of the bodies will not score the same as built. I don't know if this is an advantage or a disadvantage. Nonetheless, due to the now inherent inequality between trucks submitted by the original deadline and those submitted yesterday, I cannot justly permit the rejected entries to be considered in FTC2. My apologies to those who missed the cut.

Re: The Farm Truck Challenge (Stage 2 - Closed, Tallying Sco

I'm going to say yes because it would be unfair to the other rejected entries that they didn't get to enter by virtue of body choice.

Damn, well that is ok then, you did your best in offering the chance.

EDIT: I still have the right to be pissed at the save bug though, I need a really big hammer to smash it :P :P :P
