...I wasn't going to participate in this, but I got curious. 1:16.02 on airfield. That's with gearing and aero set up for the Green Hell, of course.

*reflexively tries to pan around to look at the profile of the Dalora SV712*

The front looks awesome, mind! I like what you did with the vents flanking the hood bump.

Re: Formula Automation - 1990 Formula One Season

Right, I finally got my shit together and submitted. Though I have to say, I don't know where I'll stack up because I can't help but shake this sense of disappointment. I did get back the 2 seconds I dropped by opening up the vents on my car. But I just can't help but feel that even a car from 1990 should be... a bit faster.

Also, definitely no prizes for most horsepower, most torque, highest top speed, greatest reliability, or lightest car. I'll be aiming to win through track points alone!

Re: Formula Automation - 1990 Formula One Season

I'll be checking out the entries and updating things later this evening, just haven't had time today. Then I'll probably work on my new car and such.

Edit: Alright, everything's updated and all the people who I haven't checked off have been checked off. Didn't expect to get this many people, so I'm kind of happy with the results. Still accepting applications though, so feel free to send in those race cars!

Hi All,

Can anyone clarify the above in reference to Quality? does this mean that every slider can be +5 quality with a singe +/-15 within each category?

Thanks

That is to say, ONE slider out of all the tabs in each category (Model, Engine or Trim) is allowed to be either less than -5, or greater than 5. Every other slider must be between -5 to 5, inclusive.

The results for mine.... A loud roar, squeeling tires, billowing clouds of smoke.... as most of the other cars accelerate down the track.

Re: Formula Automation - 1990 Formula One Season

Sorry I was unable to do the race this weekend. I forgot and slept in Saturday morning, then I was busy the rest of the afternoon. To make matters worse, I had a bowling tournament on Sunday which took up the bulk of the day, so I was unable to do it then. I'll attempt to do it later today after checking the very last contestant.
