Mine gets 11.5 or something.

And also a 2:16 on ATT. I think? 1:21 on airfield. 8:35 on Green Hell.

I'd mention my times, but... I wanna see where the truck ends up with its heavy-ass Cast Iron V12. I'm actually nervous about this one.

Re: The Farm Truck Challenge (Stage 2 - Closed, Tallying Sco

I didn't really go ham on this one, I used the same 5.7L NA block and did naturally aspirated tuning. Gained me almost 100hp but that still only gets me up to 340hp. At least I can say I built something that might actually be realistic to pull off :D

Re: The Farm Truck Challenge (Stage 2 - Closed, Tallying Sco

You guys have no idea how angry I am at the game and at myself. My entry was DQed due to being over budget, on my screen I was under but the game failed to save THREE very important slider changes and BAM! 10k over budget, to top it off this was the first time I didn't send a verification screenshot because the game has played nice so far. I was able to use Teamviewer on my phone to access my PC and make a revision BUT it was an hour or so past the deadline (was sleeping, I am 6 hours ahead of KLin), I really hope he accepts it :( I tried so hard to get home before the cutoff only to be screwed over by the damned save bug. Ah well, back to work.

EDIT: In NO way am I angry at Klin for the DQ so dont take this post that way, he is running an awesome challenge and deserves a ton of credit for doing this.

Re: The Farm Truck Challenge (Stage 2 - Closed, Tallying Sco

I have made a new poll. I hate turning y'all away, but I feel like I was fair with a clear rule list and one extension already. Of course there are plenty of good reasons to allow for the revisions to have an extension. However, integrity under the rules won't let me make that decision just because. Therefore, the poll is to save my conscience. If there is at least a supermajority in favor of accepting the late revisions, I will take them. Late revisions need to be in my inbox by 1/26/15 at Midnight EST for one final chance. I will check the poll results and announce my decision tomorrow. Arguments for and against by non-rejected entrants may be heard here.

I feel the pain of that dodgy saving issue. Sometimes the changes just refuse to stick even if you're hammering away at the save button.

Re: The Farm Truck Challenge (Stage 2 - Closed, Tallying Sco

Yeah, this just reinforces my belief that I am going to always send verification pics again. Yeah it wouldnt have helped the DQ as much BUT I would have had something to show that what I saw was correct etc. I think I will also import my own exports to check them as well.

And guys, if you vote no for the extension I will have NO hard feelings directed at you, you all have put a lot of time and effort into these as well and for it to be delayed can be frustrating and I apologize for that. I would like to thank KLinardo for this chance for redemption, thank you everyone and HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!

Re: The Farm Truck Challenge (Stage 2 - Closed, Tallying Sco

I got DQed twice. First time under cooled truck was a problem and I have strong suspicion that bug got me that one... but than second DQ was for me being sloppy with safety. So yeah, I resubmitted now but definitely no hard feelings in any case. I would be happy to tag along but rules are rules :)

PS: my truck is doing ATT in 2.12.55 and GH 8.12.86 while keeping old engine :)

No "I Don't give a f*ck" option.

Just won't vote then.

The idgaf option would be pretty much a yes vote, so therefore I made it a binary poll.

Damnit, that is faster than mine, I think, by a really small margin!!!

DQ, I say, DQ! (just kidding, I know I didn't go all out on the fuel richness and my engine was hardly the most potent so I can hardly begrudge not being fastest.)

Looks like ill make my shity (at least for this one) truck a little more shity and hope for the best :) im fine with either decision, deserved my disqualification with submitting so late and not reading the rules carefully.

i am just wondering whether the not so great performance might actually be outweighed... let's just see whether it will be allowed to enter
