I wonder if cabin noise gives a bigger comfort penalty if you have a good sound system installed.

Nah, the entertainment is separate from cabin noise. Cabin noise depends on engine loudness and interior type. I notice that between the previous build and this one, the "insulation" slider has disappeared, presumably since the type of interior implies what kind of insulation the cabin might have already! As for me, a standard cabin and an engine loudness of 62 gives me a 13.3% penalty due to cabin noise. Ouch!

I would be surprised if your car was faster than mine up Pikes Peak unless it were at least 30% more expensive ;) Unless there was a serious buff to offroad, mine's not that high either... but I'm confident in my strong drivability and sportiness stats.

Hm! Not bad styling! A bit funky, but clean, simple, and effective.

Re: Homologation 1984 Group Automation [SUBMISSIONS]

My car is like 15K total cost lol, but i did a turbo and im pretty sure i pissed it off in such a way that my HP is nowhere near as close as i could have done with a NA one. But ah well, luxury interiors have a price!

Re: Homologation 1984 Group Automation [SUBMISSIONS]

I actually ditched the turbo after coming up against the max 0.4 compressor diameter: block bore ratio. I just couldn't get really meaningful outputs with that, so with a highly oversquare turbo i4 I was barely pushing 220hp. That's when I said nuts to that, and did what the majority of people appear to have done, an NA v8, except cranked it up a few notches.
