I'll have to investigate this skinny front tires thing on MR cars. So far the quickest setup I could find was with McPherson strut + fat tires up front.

Yeah, totally try double-wishbones skinny tyres. My underpowered, underperforming Communist car had a few aces up its sleeve on certain tracks due to that setup. I like to think of it as a similar principle to the Nissan Deltawing :D

TY man but, yep, probably it's wicked... lacking power everywhere hehe.
I can't think in an endurance race without some good reliability so I foresee a slow run to the checkered flag... maybe the eco thing be enough to keep up the pace (what I doubt), we'll see.
Dunno why but I tend to sabotage my cars with my own thoughts lol.

Hmm really nice those vents on the bonnet and some details on the Persephone.

Re: 1982 Le Mans 24 Hours C-ERA [Accepting entries] GT UPDAT

I did the math, with current calculations you can do up to about 10.4L/100km I think? Without losing time for a 5th pit stop. Given that the cars generally do like 22-30 pit stops for various reasons in LMP, I figure a multiplier of about 4 for the fuel would be closer to race conditions, though it's hard to say how much of that is refuelling and others is maintenance etc. etc. the pit strategy gets really complicated xD

thanks! I only recently discovered what you can do with insetting the strips over the vents and the features of the vent depth mapping... something you've been using to great effect especially with your GT car. You can have the .lua if you like, if you want to take a closer look!

Hmm dunno man but the statistics shows a good 7.31l/100km (top secret)... I'll wait and see how it plays out.

Sure, I wish to take a closer look, I like that racing aesthetic and I think it fits the era with a modern feeling.

Re: 1982 Le Mans 24 Hours C-ERA [ENTRIES CLOSED]

The real rules of the C-Era (found in the ACO and the FIA), establish this: "With competitors restricted to five refueling stops within a 1000 kilometer distance, the cars were effectively allowed 600 litres per 1000 kilometers." But I ommited these rule because a car with 60l/100km (needs less fuel than a Jaguar XF-R Or BMW M5 F10, for curiosity), in Automation, I never seen these value in a ok adjusted engine (any engine with turbo and a 15.0:1 compression ratio with máx. boost, because can reach 90l/100km).

And the AUtomation fuel consumption I think that is a 90km/h (a suggestion for Automation: add in the lap time the fuel consumption).

My computer is broken, and I don't had my gaming pc (and this computer can't run games).

The Thursday, my insurer tell me something (because it was broken by a power surge).
