On the subject of reliability, there's another question waiting to be answered for this race: how effective will AshleyBlack's repairs since last race be at keeping his car moving? I'm betting on that one as an awesome narrative for the rest of the season. :D

For me, that is an exciting prospect! :D

I think Conan and Trackpaduser were a bit unlucky actually, Matt was one of the only cars higher up to go faster than in practice. So hopefully they can take it to Matt in the race.

But holy crap, "UltimateB" :p from 20th to 9th! Nice!

Mmm, I do not know whether slipstream is really effective in the simulation or not.

Fairly surprised by that, not one fastest sector but the fastest lap. Must be because it's my local track!

Does look like it'll be an incredibly close race, although I'm not sure it can get any closer than the second one round the test track.

Haha well it should have been fixed for this race, yes. I'm very happy with my car on this track, qualifying 13th.... again. I expect good results from the race. Fingers crossed

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [Qualifying 2]

Ah, I completely forgot that was today!

Bad luck with the collisions, but I'm glad my driver was able to keep the car running in this race as well - given some of the other events of the race, I'm happy enough even without gaining any championship points with the completed races.

That was a much better outcome than I expected! I'll have to go through the first race properly to figure out what on earth happened to go from 8th to 2nd... Really boosted my standings.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [Qualifying 2]

Engine failure on the first corner.... again..... seriously? This will hurt sales
Second race I actually finished though.... in 21st. Just one position away from my first points of the season. It's a little dissapointing, but I guess it can only get better from here
