4th position. Lets hope qualifying goes similar and for less collision damage during the next race.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [Training 2]

hmmm as expected, my lower high speed cornering serves me a slight disadvantage here, considering my speed is very similar to the rest of the front runners. This will be a tough one, definitely not expecting a podium finish here either!

We have an I6 in the top 8. At least with my car.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [Training 2]

We do indeed - the other cars in the top 8 are are all V8FPs, though, just glancing at the trump cards.

Based on the training lap times, this is probably going to be 30 laps for the lead cars - so while people won't have exactly triple the tyre wear we see in training, it'll be close. Cars that have little tyre wear are definitely going to make up a place or two late race.

O man, my cornering is so incredibly bad... At least my tires were doing ok compared to on slicks I guess :\

Hmmm, Looks pretty close. I suspect Qualifying could go either way. The times are so, so close. Less than a tenth between the top three.

Given that qualifying is so few laps it could easily throw up a surprise. It'll be important to, as the track is hard to pass on.

I just love how close it is!

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [Training 2]

For the heck of it I tried to make a V8 that is comparable to the leaders engines.

I think I will stick with the I6 engines...

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [Training 2]

4th! Fantastic. Thank you Tycondero :D.

I think Conan and Trackpaduser were a bit unlucky actually, Matt was one of the only cars higher up to go faster than in practice. So hopefully they can take it to Matt in the race.

But holy crap, "UltimateB" :p from 20th to 9th! Nice!

Dropped one spot from practice, but still 4th row. This will be a tough weekend for my car, I'm thinking I'll lose spots on the ladder.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [Training 2]

Qualifying 6th place. I am quite happy.

After my failure to make a competitive V8 in experiments and the wonderful performance of my very strange I6 I think I will stick with I6 engines and just keep improving them.

My car is the only I6 in the top 10 and is only half a second slower then the fastest qualifying car. It also held the highest top speed until Der Bayer got going and he is not that much faster.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [Qualifying 2]

0.5 sec slower than practice, looks like I had some problems with traffic.
Looking forward to the race, i'm still learning so gaining experience for next season is the most important for me.
