Hey Wildkarde, from the looks your engine is very good and on paper the chassis stats look good. I think with more optimisation it would be a real winner.

Why yes, yes it is!

It might take a while, though; I'm still struggling a bit with the libraries...

Well by the looks of things, the UI looks very good aesthetically and it looks easy to use too. :)

Re: Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [STAGE 3 RESULT

In testing I have discovered I picked a bad body for my BRC 1100 car but I did have some fun testing out a new and more powerful engine. Some changes planned for next time using stuff learned from this run so far.

Maybe I can do better next time.

Re: Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [STAGE 3 RESULT

I'm using an I6T, and a V8N (can't recall if CP or FP). So far I'm doing pretty good with the 1100 class, considering I focused on the shakedown stages as my test series, which seemed to have been slightly more geared towards higher speeds. Next time I'll probably redo the turbo so it works on the mid-range far better and only keeps the top end somewhat close to what a NA engine could do.

Re: Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [STAGE 3 RESULT

After further analysis and revision of my entry I obviously need more aero work. My submission has two lips and no wings and that's where my mediocre Cornering Gs are coming from.

Everything is proceeding as we had forseen...

... though it remains to be seen whether team WRT's estimates for the final 2 stages will prove true. If they are however, it will come down to mere tenths of a second in the final stage between the top 6 places.

Re: Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [STAGE 4 RESULT

Great work again Der Bayer. :D

Volvo managed to blast its way back into top 10 however it only just occurred to me that Stage 6 is almost 20km of slow bumpy track.... unfortunately i think that will push the Scandinavian brick well out of finish top 10.

however my Super 1000 RX7 is Loving life and its fairly confident on Top 5 if not a Podium finish... I think Znopresk might just peg the Golf 1000 on that really long last Stage :o

Woop, a top 3 finish :D
Now we just gotta see how the final 2 stages will turn out, this'll prove to be exciting.
